Mike Frerichs is a Democrat running for Illinois Treasurer. He's supported by special interests and had a really hard time with the truth when he launched his campaign. If we can't trust Mike with telling us the truth with his own biography, how can we trust him to be our State Treasurer?
Mike Frerichs has been a State Senator where he voted to increase taxes a ton. He raised your taxes on cable tv, on your internet service, on wheelchairs. Yes...wheelchairs! You can read the rest of his tax increases on The Illinois Truth Team site.
Mike will tell you he was born somewhere and his parents did something. But...come on.
If he lied about his own biography in his launch video, can we really believe what he says about this other stuff? Not likely.
He'll also be a clever wordsmith and tell you that he was the first in his family to attend a "university". Even though his older brother went to a "College" ahead of him. How clever of Mike.
Mike currently resides in Champaign and has a daughter named Ella. His slogan, “Telling #talltales for Illinois,” is a play on his height. At 6 feet 8 inches, Mike is one of the tallest legislators in Illinois history, standing four inches taller than Abraham Lincoln.
